This is a world record of its own stature. I’m sure that the video uploader has now officially become a millionaire by generating this much traffic online 🙂

Btw, this blog post is not about making a mere announcement – by now, you must have become familiar about my philosophical mind and hence, I would like to use this as an example of people who somehow crack the code of attaining fame and success in its true essence.

If you hear this song, Despacito, you will instantly pick the Mexican feel. Few years ago, another song from Korea “Gangnam Style” broke the world record and trust me the recipe was the same – your culture, your values, a lot of good luck and a touch of punk!

Sometimes we tend to forget our DNA and this doesn’t get us anywhere. I have seen people struggling with “acceptability” than realizing their own passion and owning it to the level such that the world around starts appreciating you for what you are!

Likewise, there is an Indian designer Sabyasachi who is making waves with his ethnic fashion designs. Never earlier I have seen any dress designer partnering with an international shoe brand, such as Christian Louboutin, but the two recognized their traditional artistic strength and blend it so beautifully.

I can’t emphasize it enough but if you ever want to start your own venture – please begin with what you like and try to connect it with who you are. This would bring a lot of originality to one’s idea and creation.
