Happened to have experienced PFDC Fashion Week organized by Sunsilk a couple of weeks ago. When we reached the venue, it revealed upon us that the earlier show had not ended so we will have to wait for our show. In order to kill time, we started looking for options. After taking a gazillion pictures, we finally found the only food stall by Cosa Nostra – Delicatessen. We ordered Panini Sandwiches, Pan Pizza, Fried Potatoes with sauce and Ice Cream. And you cannot imagine, how tasty our food was!

It was the yummiest, best combination of black pepper and mayonnaise that I had ever tasted. Although we weren’t there for food but I had marked it in my heart that later someday, we will go to the eatery and explore few more food options. They indeed have a great chef!

So the next visit happened on 24th March, 2018!

Cosa Nostra – Delicatessen is located at the heart of Lahore – Gulberg main boulevard Mall1. The seating space is minimal yet modern and this place offers a limited variety of gourmet. For the full-fledge lunch/dinner menu, one must visit Cosa Nostra on its own. This one is just to nudge your taste buds and give you a great snacking experience with your friends and loved ones around the day in case you aren’t looking for a full meal.

We were on the go so ordered light. It was a Fajita Crepe’ and Chicken Salad Sandwich with Granary bread. They had a huge offering on salad and Ice cream as well.

Btw, they had put a bit of salt in the ice cream, making it a die-for sweet option so you may want to try it, especially the salted Caramel flavor that we had.

Overall, I would give them a 9 on 10 on ambiance and food but the only put off for me was the serving of Lays Chips with the sandwich. I couldn’t understand the combination of a healthy and junk food and that too in such a close proximity that they had to be on the same plate :/

The seating area was compact but never giving a feeling of being cluttered up.

With Lahore bombarded with hundreds of restaurants and small eateries, it is very important for the food shop to offer something which their customers can remember and hook on to. I would definitely recommend this place – for its locality, quality of food, seating space and extremely yummy food. But remember, this is not a full fledge restaurant with a complete range of assortments. So, get ready to enjoy the little things in life while being at Cosa Nostra Delicatessen 🙂
